Detail: He lived -404 to -323 and was Cynic. He lived simply, with only cloak and sack, and lived in a tub before enslavement. He attacked vice, corruption, and folly. He kept looking for one virtuous man, while holding up his lantern. He told Alexander the Great to get out of his light.
