Detail: He lived 1770 to 1840, lost to Napoleon at Jena [1806], and signed Treaty of Tilsit, giving west Prussia to France. He gave Poland to Duke of Warsaw. He joined Continental System. Then his ministers revitalized Prussia and fought War of Liberation from France. He joined Holy Alliance.
